The newly furnished rooms have good beds and a work desk, and the two spacious common kitchens are well-equipped, so you have good opportunities to cook yourself or just meet with the other residents around the tables.<\/p>\n

The entire experience was nothing short of magical for me in that it produced new roots and a sense of being (in a new) home. Skagastrond itself is a mixture of a peaceful and yet pleasantly lively community… . Everything was new to me \u2013 and yet, I felt so much \u201cat home.\u201d A good amount of credit for this very positive experience derives from the place where I actually resided (Salthus Guesthouse)… The siting of the Guesthouse could not have been better \u2013 overlooking the ocean, next to hills laden with historical significance, walking distance to town and to the artist studios, etc. I can hardly wait to return\u2026.<\/p>\n
