Rooms
Salthús Guesthouse has fourteen well furnished rooms. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and a sink. The eight south facing rooms have a panoramic ocean view over the Húnaflói bay, across the harbour and towards the Skagaströnd city center. The six north facing rooms offer a panoramic view across the cape Spákonufellshofdi and towards the mountains of the Skaginn peninsula. There is also one shared kitchen on each floor, with seven rooms on each floor of the two-storey building (completely rebuilt and renovated in 2017).
Types of rooms
- Four family rooms (sleep 4) with sea view and garden access, on the ground floor.
- Four double rooms (sleep 2) with sea view, on the upper floor.
- Three double rooms (sleep 2) with mountain view, on the upper floor.
- One twin room (sleeps 2) on the ground floor, with access to the parking lot.
- Two small twin rooms (sleep 2) on the ground floor, each with handicap access and access to the parking lot.
Family rooms – 4 persons
The guesthouse has four family rooms, with sea view on the ground floor. The family room sleeps four persons. Each room is fitted with a Queen size double bed, a bunk bed and two lounge chairs. Each room has a door out to the garden. Click here for more information about family rooms.
Double rooms with sea view – 2 persons

Twin room – 2 persons
This north-facing room is fitted with two single beds, a lounge chair and a writing desk and chair. There is a door onto the parking lot. Click here for more information about the twin room.
Twin rooms – disability access – 2 persons
